Busy being a teacher!
Last weekend Alicia Hays came to visit me from Deajeon , that was a lot of fun. We spent most of the time hanging out with people I knew and walking around town and trying new fun places to eat. We didn't do much more adventuring than that... Once Alicia posts pictures of the weekend I will post some on here. She also brought 2 of her friends from her school. It was nice to get to know them. I plan to do a 5K in Deajeon with in the next couple of months. I am excited. It is much easier to run here. :) ... I am soon going to look into rock climbing and I have already gone to a hot yoga class. The class was all in Korean but it was easy to fallow. I enjoyed it. The week at school is going well. We are taking our kids on a field trip this friday! :) i am super super excited to see how this goes. I am dealing with a lot of "kid" issues that I am not really trained for but I am glad to of taken some of those philosophy classes in college. Another interesting thing that happened to me this week was that I found out a parent of one of my students came to school and saw me and told a Korean Co teacher of mine that she was "scared" of me because I look like a "solider." HAHA ... I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing..... ?....... The next day I was leading my youngest kender class back to their classroom with me and one girl stepped out of line and looked at my school director and told her in Korean that she was scared of me! my director just looked at me and cracked up! So the past week I have been scaring students more than usual by just being my tall self.... haha they will get used to me.... This weekend I do not have anything big planned, I want to venture off and find some places to hike and just see. And of course relax. RELAX is the number one thing becuase this past week I had to get 65 report cards done and they took me FOREVER! On monday I was at work from 9 am till 12pm (i was there on and off kinda). Until next time
